IISc conferred degrees on 1,570 students during its Convocation 2026, held at the JN Tata Auditorium on 10 July for graduates of the 2025-26 academic year. The ceremony featured virtual addresses by Chief Guest Soumya Swaminathan, Chair of the MS Swaminathan Research Foundation, and Guest of Honor Senapathy ‘Kris’ Gopalakrishnan, Chair of the IISc Council, and IISc Council member Dr V Narayanan attended the event in person.
