The Department of Computational and Data Sciences (CDS) is a new interdisciplinary engineering department formed in December, 2015 at the Indian Institute of Science. It is also the first of its kind among the top universities in India.
The Sponsored PhD fellowships at CDS will be named after the donor to support bright PhD students joining IISc. These could be instituted in a department or for a specific research area actively pursued by the institute faculty members. The named/sponsored fellowship will provide enhanced support as well as sponsoring their travel, accommodation, conference registrations and related requirements.
Target: Rs. 35 Lakhs for one fellowship.
