The ECE Department has, over the past few years, been attracting a large number of bright students to pursue research. In order for these students to gain experience and interact with their peer groups across the globe, it is necessary for the students to present papers in premier conferences in their respective research areas. The current travel support given to students for their entire duration of research studies is not sufficient sometimes for even one conference. Funds towards contingency/working expenses are also limited. There is a pressing need to augment resources for supporting this activity in the Department.
The ECE Department has launched this initiative to support the research and professional development needs of its students, and actively seeks generous contribution from its alumni towards this Fund.
