To encourage bright young students to pursue research careers, named scholarships can be provided in selected areas. Interested institute scholars can apply, and the selection will be carried out by a committee constituted for this purpose. The scholarships are provided for upto 5 years (PhD) and 2 years (Master’s). The scholarships can be named after the contributor/contributing organization.
Contribution:
PhD scholarships: Annual contribution per scholar is Rs. 6 lakhs. For the entire program, the contribution per scholar is Rs. 30 lakhs.
Master’s scholarships: Annual contribution per student is Rs. 6 lakhs. For the entire program, the contribution per student is Rs. 12 lakhs.
