About
Wells Fargo International Pvt Ltd has instituted two MTech fellowships (Wells Fargo and IISc-Wells Fargo fellowships) at IISc, with the aim of encouraging highly talented women students to pursue careers in deep technology sectors, in order to address the gender inequality in the field of science and technology.
Eligibility
- Wells Fargo Fellowship – incoming MTech women students of Department of Computational and Data Sciences (CDS) based on merit.
- IISc-Wells Fargo Fellowship – women MTech students in the broad area of computing science, based on merit.
Entitlements
- Wells Fargo Fellowship – Monthly Stipend of Rs. 25,000
- IISc-Wells Fargo Fellowship – Top up fellowship of Rs. 12,400 in addition to MoE fellowship

Wells Fargo India is primarily an extension of the technology, operations, knowledge services, and corporate support teams of Wells Fargo. It engages in application development and support, testing, other technology functions, international operations, knowledge support, and middle and back-end banking process solutions for a wide spectrum of Wells Fargo’s needs. The entity currently has offices in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai.
