Application Details
Important Notes:
- Only full time PhD scholars in the 4th to 6th year of their PhD program (who are eligible to receive fellowships till March 31 2025) may apply for this award if their work overlaps with the fields as below:
- Advancing Expertise in AI/ML and Computational Modelling: Foster research in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), computational modeling, robotics, and related fields to develop innovative solutions that address complex
industry challenges. - Development of AI-Driven Platforms for Workflow Automation: Encourage the creation of agentic automation systems to optimize workflows in domains like insurance claims processing, procurement, and risk/fraud detection. These platforms should utilize advanced data ingestion, pattern recognition, and decision-support mechanisms to enable real-time process optimization.
- Promoting Efficiency, Accuracy, and Scalability: Support projects that aim to reduce manual interventions, shorten operational cycles, and improve accuracy in critical processes such as fraud detection. Emphasis should be placed on building modular and scalable solutions capable of rapid industry-wide deployment.
- Enhancing Industry-Specific Compliance and Integration: Address sector-specific challenges, including regulatory compliance (e.g., insurance regulations and data privacy), by developing solutions that seamlessly integrate with existing enterprise systems. Research should focus on establishing secure and efficient data management practices for sensitive information.
- Catalyzing High-Impact, Scalable Solutions for Diverse Industries: Drive innovation in systems engineering and process optimization to deliver scalable solutions tailored to diverse industry needs, ensuring transformative outcomes across sectors.
- Strengthening Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Encourage interdisciplinary approaches that combine engineering, computational sciences, and domain expertise to solve real-world problems through cutting-edge AI and systems engineering methodologies.
- Advancing Expertise in AI/ML and Computational Modelling: Foster research in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), computational modeling, robotics, and related fields to develop innovative solutions that address complex
- This fellowship is currently for the duration mentioned. Therefore, those with any other ODAA fellowships, or through projects (irrespective of the value) are not eligible.
