About
Dr Brij Seth Merit Awards were proposed with the generous donation from our honourable alumni Dr Brij Seth on 8 July, 2020.
Eligibility
The award will be given in four categories in multiple programs at IISc:
- Best 4th Year B.Sc. student with Materials major based on the performance in the
preceding academic year (5th and 6th Semester) - Best 3rd Year B.Sc. student with Materials major based on the performance in the
preceding academic year (3rd and 4th Semester) - Best research project for 5th year M.Sc. student
- Best research project for graduating M.Tech. student
Entitlements
Awards in categories 1 and 2 carries a cash prize of Rs. 30,000/- and categories 3 and 4 carries a cash prize of Rs. 25,000/-
