The Department of CSA currently enjoys a pre-eminent position in the country as a vanguard seat of learning and research in Computer Science and Engineering. The department is known for its excellent research atmosphere and is among the most preferred destinations for bright young faculty members and students in the country. However, given the rapid spread of educational excellence in the country over the last decade, and the need to constantly re-invent to reflect and promote the morphing manifestations of the external world, a slew of measures need to be implemented to maintain its competitive edge.
This re-invention will boost both scientific aspirations as well as the research environment and support provided in the department, and includes the following:
- Upgradation and maintenance of contemporary research infrastructure, with competent scientific and departmental administration.
- Hosting a vibrant community of post-doctoral scholars, who will be the department’s future faculty members and ambassadors.
